Dealers Notice

In the UK it is illegal to supply or offer to supply any item as gold, silver, platinum, or palladium unless it's hallmarked. The hallmark is the guarantee of authenticity. Every item above a weight threshold must be test and verified, or hallmarked, by an independent Assay Office to guarantee that the metal is as stated.

 The thresholds for hallmarking are 1g gold, 7.7g silver, 0.5g platinum and 1g palladium.

 All the pieces on this website which are over the threshold will be hallmarked by the London Assay Office with the Joanna’s Designs in Silver mark which is JB.
